Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. Acquires “Kobelco Paint Robot”

Wixom, MI – Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. is pleased to announce that Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan has purchased the “Kobelco Paint Robot”, the industrial robotic paint division of Kobe Steel, Ltd. This acquisition brings many new opportunities for both Kawasaki Robotics and our customers. The addition of an excellent robotic painting product to our already strong line of industrial robots allows us to better serve all of our customers and their automation needs.

Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. will assume responsibility for direct sales, training, spare parts and complete service support of the current installed base of Kobelco robots in North America.
