Kawasaki Robotics, Inc. (“us,” “we” or “our”) created this Web Site Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) in order to ensure the confidence of visitors and customers (“you” or “your”) of and to our Web site (the “Site”), and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy. Personal data that you voluntarily enter will be delivered electronically to servers located in the State of Michigan in the United States. By using the Site you consent to the transfer of this data and to our use of such data as outlined in this policy. This Site is not intended for children under the age of 18. If you are under 18 you must ask a parent for permission prior to submitting any information to this Site.

1. Types of Information Collected

a. Traffic Data Collected. We automatically track and collect the following information when you visit our Site, including your: (i) IP address; (ii) domain server; (iii) type of computer; and (iv) type of web browser (collectively “Traffic Data”). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on the Site. We also use “cookies” to customize content specific to your interests and to store customer passwords so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the Site.

In order for you to access certain premium customer services and to purchase products that we offer via the Site, we require you to provide us with information that personally identifies you or your company (“Personal Information”). Personal Information may include: (i) Contact Data (such as your name, job title, occupation, phone number, company name, company address, mailing and e-mail addresses); (ii) Financial Data (such as your account or credit card number); (iii) Demographic Data (such as your zip code, age and income) and (iv) Proof of Purchase data (such as number of the Kawasaki robot or controller that you own or the Kawasaki work order number from the work order purchasing Kawasaki robots). If you communicate with us by e-mail, post messages to any of our chat groups, bulletin boards or forums, or otherwise complete online forms, surveys, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information.

2. Uses of Information Collected

We use Contact Data to send you information about our company or our products or services, or promotional material from some of our partners, or to contact you when necessary. We use your Financial Data to verify your qualifications for certain products or services and to bill you for products and services. We use your Demographic Data to customize and tailor your experience on the Site, displaying content that we think you might be interested in and according to your preferences. We use Proof of Purchase Data to confirm your eligibility to access the password-protected section of our Site specifically designated for Kawasaki customers only.

We do not share Demographic Data with advertisers and other third parties. We may share Contact Data with our parent and affiliated sister companies, KHI, KRG, KRUK, and etc., who may want to send you information about their products or services.
