Kawasaki has developed a pre-engineered painting systems that incorporate servo controlled part positioning with easy operation via Kawasaki Robotics' Controller.

 
 
  • Servo Spinner: This work cell utilizes a servo part positioner to lift and rotate parts from a conveyor to allow the robot to provide uninterrupted painting of the work piece.
  • Servo Twister: An 8-axis system used to rotate parts in and out of a painting cell while allowing full rotation of the work piece during the painting process.
  • Servo Turntable: This system incorporates a large servo driven table for manipulating large work pieces. A special design is also available for fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) dispensing.
  • Servo Tombow: A compact 8-axis system which allows indexing of the work piece in and out of the cell, providing full servo control of the rotation of the work piece table.
  • Servo Shuttle: A servo-driven transfer shuttle moves in and out of the cell while providing full rotation control of the work piece. The 6-axis Kawasaki robot cooperatively tracks and manipulates around the table.
  • Servo Wing: The servo controlled arms can manipulate a part infront of the robot for optimal paint coverage and finish. These same arms move the finished part to / from the operator load / unload station.
