Kawasaki's traversing base 7^th axis is designed with the same high standards as our robots. The direct drive system consists of a rack and pinion and precision rail mechanism.The integrated motion control and servo system maintain accurate repeatability rates.
The traversing base is controlled by the robot's standard controller, requiring no additional hardware. Available in various track lengths with speeds up to 1,000 mm/sec. Each 7^th axis is complete with a cable track system to support robot cables, that can be shrouded in harsh environments.
